Tie Top is a fitted top with edges and straps worked in double knitting, with the straps tied at the shoulders. First, the front and back pieces are worked with increases to shape the beginning of the straps and the armholes, before the work is joined and the body is worked. Finally, double-knit edges are worked along the top of the garment, before the straps are worked.
